FAQ

Common questions.

I've never lifted before. Can I do this? +

Yes — that's exactly who Fundamentals is built for. Three private sessions with a coach to teach you the squat, deadlift, press, and basic gymnastics. After that, you're ready for group class. We've onboarded retirees, new parents, post-injury athletes, and total beginners.

What is CrossFit, exactly? +

Constantly varied, high-intensity functional movements. In practice: a one-hour coached class with a warmup, strength work or skill, and a workout (the WOD). Every workout scales to your level — same movements, different loads.

What should I bring to my first class? +

Athletic shoes (flat-soled is better — no running shoes if you can avoid it), water bottle, and a towel. We provide everything else: barbells, plates, rings, ropes, rowers, bikes. Coach will pull you aside before class to brief the workout.

Is Fundamentals required? +

For most new members, yes. If you've trained at another CrossFit affiliate within the last year, we'll waive it. For everyone else — three sessions, $99 total, scheduled around your week. It's the difference between learning the movements right and learning them wrong.

Do you take drop-ins? +

Yes. $25 per class, walk in or reserve a spot online. Bring a CrossFit Level 1 cert or proof of affiliate membership if you want to skip the brief. First drop-in is on us.

What's the contract? Can I cancel? +

No contract. All memberships are month-to-month. Cancel by the 25th to stop the next month's billing. Pause membership for travel, injury, or any reason — just let us know.
